Where the Delivery Driver Tips YOU
People say that you can tell it’s a market bubble when even your delivery driver starts giving out stock tips. Get your bubble ready, because that’s me! My name is Scott Martin (aka smartplays, smartplays13).
Yes, I do actually deliver sandwiches freakishly-fast for a sandwich shop that shall remain nameless and which is not affiliated with this website. But in addition to that, I am a market enthusiast who has spent much of the last 20 years acquiring a degree from the School of Hard Knocks and Overpriced Commissions with a major in stock options trading.
Upon learning about commission-free trading, I opened a $5000 account in late December of 2019. I side-stepped the Coronavirus Collapse of early 2020, and have grown my accounts to just over $14,000 as of this last day of July, 2020. What do you call a 180% return in a little over seven months? Dare I say, freakishly-fast?
Approximately 90% of my portfolio in use is tied up in stocks (or short stock positions) at any given time, with the remainder in directional options plays for added oomph.
Long ago, I received a degree in journalism from Arizona State University, and I’ve missed writing the past few years. I look forward to helping traders develop the ability to manage a portfolio of stocks for the rest of their lives. If you can trade, and I believe most people can be taught how to trade, you will always have security. Start small if that’s all you can afford, but start!
